Coming Up for Air...Finally!

Yowsa, it's been an insanely busy two months...art, art and more art! Four classes developed, two
classes taught(with one left to go), 70 plus hours spent working on a life-sized salmon for a local
benefit auction and sample prep for Artfiberfest Vendor Night...I'm PooPeD! Now that it's all
done(for the moment), I am free to read my nature-themed books and begin studying from
some great art books(LOVE the duo of Jan Beaney and Jean Littlejohn~simply SUPERB fiber
artists).

It's also time to get serious about adding photos, links , etc. to my rather spartan-looking BLoG, and get movin' on listing things on my Etsy shop...also rather empty at the moment! Time to
light a fire under my BeLoVeD, who has promised to help me learn how to navigate through all
of these new ventures. Oh Darlin'...

Jet Xerxes and Her A-1 Plan to be Mortgage Free

I had a little fun with a name game I saw on another blog awhile ago, and in playing the
game I discovered that my "porn star name" would be Jet Xerxes(more about the name game
at the end of this blog). This got me to thinking. Recently, I decided to make every effort to
own my home...I really, really want to know the freedom of being mortgage-free for the first
time in my life. So, here's the BRiLLaNT plan that popped into my BRaiN after playing said
Name Game: become an at-home porn star using Jet Xerxes as my stage name. I told my
BeLoVeD of this idea, which left him a bit speechless for a moment or two. He also looked more
than a little stressed when I asked, "It's a pretty clever idea, don't ya think?" Apparently
this was the same as asking him, "Do I look fat in these jeans?" Rather cautiously, he replied, "Well...Sweetheart, you are a little...plump. This could be a problem...you know what I mean?"

SHooT. He's right. Given the industry standards, my business might be a little slow. That and
being on dial-up(country life!) would definitely be an issue. Not much of a market for full-figured slo-mo porn, I'm guessing. DouBLe SHooT. Looks like it's Plan B for becoming mortgage-free.
